I Respect You

I respect,
You as a person,
As a respectable figure,
As a role model,
As a lady who leads a way to other ladies,
As a lady waiting to become a real African Woman,
An example of an Independent woman;

I respect,
Your mind,

And that is why even if you ignore me I don’t mind,
Because I know you’re trying to protect yourself from my kind,
Since most of my kind (men) are the same;

I respect,
Your soul,

And that is why I always put you in my daily prayers,

And I know that it’s the soul that create who you are,
It’s from our souls,

We can know who we goner be in the future,
We can feel it deep down inside our selves;

I respect,
Your privacy

And that is why no matter how many awful things I hear about you

I don’t even ask,

What happened?

I respect,
Your body,

 And I’ll just say it’s beautiful,
Above all this I just want you to know I’ll always respect you

Because you’re a good person,

And I liked you since the day we met and talked,

I discovered something that I never knew you’ll have

Dignity, Respect, Kindness and much more,
